Beautiful late spring day. Walked 5 minutes to Mosman Bay. Topped up Opal cards for public transport. Tapped our Opal card to the scanner and boarded, same actions upon exit where the fee is deducted automatically. The tap 'n go system makes for quick movement. Caught the Mossman Ferry to Circular Quay (pronounced Key).

Thanks to Jonathan and Emily for a delicious lunch at The Boathouse Balmoral Beach where it's up to you to snag a table; no easy task at such a popular place.
The trio took us to Clontarf Beach where we walked in the sand and checked out a bit of the Spit to Manly walk. Got an education in Cricket on our ride home and look forward to watching a game with new understanding. GREAT afternoon with our wonderful Australian mates. Looking forward to following the Blue Mountain itinerary they've put together for us.
